Jorge Sampaio, Portugal Wine Trophy Director: "We were all looking forward to welcoming the international judges to our country again and spending some pleasant days with them after a difficult time. Unfortunately, the situation has worsened dramatically in the last few days. In coordination with our regional administration, the DWM, and the organisation team on location, we have all come to the conclusion that a safe execution of the Portugal Wine Trophy is not possible at this moment. We deeply regret this and hope that we can overcome these difficult times together and meet again next year in Portugal."
We, the DWM team, are also behind this decision. For all of us, the health and well-being of our partners is our first priority. Therefore, we ask for your understanding of this measure.
We wish you all good health and look forward to our next joint event with you.
